Photo Hunt= Books

Books, books, books! I love books. Pardon the messiness. We are in the middle of painting. Here are just some of my books. I love mystery books, nonfiction, and Eloise Wilkins books just to name a few. If Ancient One looks closely, there's a surprise for her the next time we go home.

Photo Hunt-Painted

My youngest son did this painting when in was eleven. He had a fabulous art teacher.

These are my Mother's Day Flowers and I photoshopped them into painted flowers.

My azaleas

My azaleas didn't last long this year and I lost several plants over the winter. I just think my soil is not conducive to these lovely things.

Photo Hunt--In Memory

My Mom-------
This is the burial place of my Grandfather and Grandmother Orlowsky; we assume she is buried above him. They were Lithuanian and came through Ellis Island during 1907-08. Grandfather came first then Grandmother. They died long before I was born and have a special place in my heart.

Snow Ball bush

My snowball bushes were very pretty this year until the downpours hit. All the blossoms are on the ground, now.

Knockout roses

Last year, I planted several knockout rose bushes. I love these things. Unlike regular rose bushes, blackspot usually doesn't bother them. They are more like a floribunda but I am really enjoying them. I also have a pink one. Haven't tried the yellow, yet.

Photo Hunt-Walking

We had to go to Smithfield to get a tractor part. My DH had to check out the new tractors, but I told him he better get WALKING....LOL
